Essence of Dumal
We are a little different from most of the other castes simply because we do not have a subcaste. There is no consensus among historians on our origins. According to one school of thought, 'Dumal' may have derived from Dumba Hadap, an Odisha village. Some historians believe that Dumal comes from Duma, again in Odisha.
